The first nine censuses from 1790-1870 were organized under the United States Federal Court system. This database details those persons surnamed Christopher who were heads of households that were enumerated in the 1790 United States Federal Census. Seventeen households headed by persons surnamed Christopher were enumerated. Note that the database incorrectly pulls two persons not surnamed Christopher and, therefore, the total is not 19 but, rather, 17 Christopher households. Known early Christopher lines in Virginia were, somehow, not enumerated that year or were canvassed and the information was, somehow, not included in the the 1790 US Federal Census.
